Why SUPERJUICE?
For years, bartenders have been questioning whether squeezing out an entire lime for one cocktail (or two, if you’re lucky) is truly worth it. From experimenting with acid solutions, to boiling fruit husks to form a stock, nothing quite hit the mark—and was aimed to solve problems that shouldn’t exist in the first place.
A huge amount of the flavour of citrus juice comes from essential oils and terpenes, the vast majority of which are found in the peels—the very same peels that end up discarded in the bin, along with the leftover metallic, oxidised juice that didn’t get used that night. So, how do we tackle this wasteful dilemma?
By extracting the oils from the peels, and combining them with love, acids, and a few other secret ingredients, we can create a fresh tasting superjuice that hits the mark every time, and you can feel good knowing that you’re helping to reduce the excessive waste that plagues current cocktail culture.
